All form a circle. Circle clockwise 16 steps and another 16 steps counter-clockwise back to place.

1st and 3rd couple

1 - 4 dance a poussette on spot: first gentleman advances towards lady as she backs off, then lady advances as he backs off,

5 - 8 then two-hand turn.

2nd and 4th couple: as B1


C1

1st couple with 2nd couple, 3rd couple with 4th couple: chaîne anglaise diagonally (to head couples' right), four changes. 1st gentleman begins by giving right hand to 2nd lady, 3rd gentleman begins by giving right hand to 4th lady.


C2

1st couple with 4th couple, 3rd couple with 2nd couple: chaîne anglaise diagonally (to head couples' left), four changes. 1st gentleman begins by giving right hand to 4th lady, 3rd gentleman begins by giving right hand to 2nd lady.


D

All dance with own partner in two-hand hold of choice, circling a half circle around the set counter-clockwise while turning with partner clockwise.

Grand chaîne: rights and lefts half round, back to original place. All begin by giving right hand to own partner.
